80's Rockers Then Jerico Reunite To Take 'Big Area' Album On Tour

British rockers Then Jerico have announced a reunion tour with all original band members. The band are to take their critically-acclaimed 1989 album 'Big Area' out on tour later this year, playing the album in its entirety in major UK cities in September. The set will also include select tracks from debut album 'First' too.

Speaking about the forthcoming tour, Mark Shaw (pictured) commented: "I'm really excited to be going out on tour with the guys again after so many years. We'll be playing songs that we put so much into writing and recording, they're a big part of our lives and of other people's too. It will be great to reconnect with our fans who have been so loyal and perform the songs they are dying to hear. The show will be in two parts, the first half featuring tracks from our first album and later on, the whole of The Big Area!"

Then Jerico formed in the mid-80s around frontman and songwriter Mark Shaw. Following the successful release of debut album 'First (The Sound Of Music)' and follow-up 'Big Area', Then Jerico suddenly split. Frontman Mark Saw pursued a solo career until 1997 when the band was resurrected with new songs and a new line-up.
