Sylver Tongue Unveils 'Something Big' Video - Watch Here

Alt-pop star Sylver Tongue has unveiled the brand new music video for her track ‘Something Big’ ahead of her up and coming tour alongside Bat for Lashes.

Sylver Tongue recently announced that her debut EP ‘Something Big’ (released via Dancing Coins – the new label from a collective that includes Mute artist Al Spx of Cold Specks) - will hit shelves on November 5th. Now, she’s unveiled the stunning new video to ‘Something Big’, which you can check out below.

Sylver Tongue is the new project from Charlotte Hatherley. Under this guise she uses battered old Juno keyboards to write the wounded pop songs that define a new chapter in her career. The name of the project is equally inspired by Phillip Pullman's Dark Materials heroine Lyra Silvertongue and Japan frontman David Sylvian. The title track from the EP is a powerful juggernaut of a single which showcases Charlotte's compelling and melodic vocals alongside riotous percussion and robotic guitar solos - and now it has an equally as compelling video to accompany it.

‘Something Big’ sits nicely alongside early teaser ‘Hook You Up’ - a perfect slice of pop - which is deservedly given its first physical release on the EP. ‘Faraway Sun’ is another new track which demonstrates a darker, cinematic side to Sylver Tongue’s sound - sedate, but no less arresting. The EP will be released on 12” vinyl and will also feature acclaimed debut single ‘Creatures’ - not previously available on a physical format.
