The Rolling Stones Tickets Selling For A Fraction Of Face Value

When The Rolling Stones announced the tickets prices for their up and coming 50th anniversary shows, fans across the country voiced their outrage at having the fork out such ridiculous amounts of cash to catch the legendary band live. Well now, it seems the high prices have resulted in some tickets going for below face value, as touts and ticket sellers attempt to shift their pairs before the gigs take place later this month.

Originally, prices ranged from a ‘low’ of £106 to an incredible £406, with VIP and hotel packages going for £629-950. But now, Stereoboard has seen fans snapping up £406 tickets for less than £150. Prices are continuing to drop as the events approach with ticket sellers looking to shift their unsold tickets before they become nothing more than an expensive piece of memorabilia.

Some ticket holders are even taking drastic measures to help shift their unwanted tickets, with one even placing an advert in The Metro (though she was asking for an expensive £2,750!).

If you’re a fan, now may be your lucky chance to snap up some cheap Rolling Stones tickets - check the links below to try and find a pair through Stereoboard. What do you think of the news? Let us know in the comment section below.

The Rolling Stones - Blue & Lonesome (Album Review)

They’ve certainly earned their reputation as the world’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll band, but the Rolling Stones have always been, at heart, a terrific blues outfit. It’s the genre on which their empire was built and the bedrock of their swaggering identity. It’s their first, most abiding love. And now, over 50 years since they formed, Mick Jagger and co. have returned to mother on a youthful and exuberant album of blues covers for the connoisseur. That’s right, Stones purists: Christmas has come early.
