Iron Maiden is a British heavy metal band from East London, currently consisting of Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Bruce Dickinson, Nicko McBrain and Janick Gers.

Formed in 1975, the band have released 16 albums, including their self-titled debut album in 1980, their first #1 album in the UK Charts, ‘The Number of the Beast’, in 1982, and last album, ‘The Book of Souls’, which was released in September 2015.

Having sold an excess of 85 million records worldwide, the band have received many awards including the Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement in 2002 and were inducted into the Hollywood Rock Walk in 2005.

The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the world and headlined Download Festival in 2016. In spring 2016 they embarked on the Australian and New Zealand leg of The Book Of Souls world tour, the UK leg of which took place in May 2017, and extended into North America throughout the summer.
