Isle Of Wight Festival Tickets, Events & Festivals in 2018 / 2019

The Isle of Wight Festival is an annual music festival, which takes place at Seaclose Park on the Isle of Wight.

The first event in 1968 put the festival on the map as it then grew to become world renowned for iconic performances from artists such as The Doors, The Who and Jimi Hendrix in his last ever UK show. The festival was successfully relaunched in 2002 to become one of the most exciting weekends of the summer, continuing to build on its proud heritage with show-stopping headliners such as Foo Fighters, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Jay-Z, Coldplay and Fleetwood Mac.

Founded in 1968, the first event put the festival on the map as the UK’s first great rock festival, t then grew to become world renowned for iconic performances from artists such as The Doors, The Who, Bob Dylan, Marc Bolan and Jimi Hendrix in his last ever UK show.

Revived in 2002, the festival has seen performances from the likes of classic acts such as David Bowie, The Police, The Rolling Stones, REM, Robert Plant, The Who, Fleetwood Mac and The Specials, alongside modern bands like Calvin Harris, Biffy Clyro, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kings Of Leon, The Black Keys , Stereophonics and The Charlatans.

2017 saw headliners Arcade Fire, David Guetta, Run DMC and Rod Stewart, alongside The Pretenders, the Kooks, Razorlight, Bastille, Kaiser Chiefs, the Shires, Example + DJ Wire, George Ezra, Rag’n’Bone Man, Jack Savoretti, Texas, Zara Larsson, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Clean Bandit, Jonas Blue, Nothing But Thieves and the Sherlocks. What a line up! Can they beat it this year?

2018 was a special celebration to mark the 50th Anniversary of the festival, with headliners Liam Gallagher, Kasabian, Depeche Mode, The Killers, Van Morrison and The Script. Also set to perform are Manic Street Preachers, Chase & Status, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Haçienda Classiçal, Rita Ora, Jessie J, Kodaline, Soul II Soul, Feeder and MORE!
