James And Ola Tickets for Theatre Shows in 2024/2025

James and Ola Jordan, the award winning dancers, are best known for their appearances on Strictly Come Dancing.

Both James and Ola grew up dancing. James initially went to classes for fun with his sister and a friend, but when teachers realised he had talent, they suggested he get a partner a start entering competitions.

At 14 years old, James was competing against other dance schools and by the age of 15, he began to compete in open competitions although he was often eliminated early. At around 18 years old, he suddenly started to become successful, and his realisation of this as a career began to dawn. James' desire to dance made him take a job working with his father as an engineer in a power station to fund classes and competitions.

Similarly, although over in Poland, Ola began dancing at the age of 10 at school. The teacher told her parents that she had real talent, and that she should attend a proper dance school where she could take part in competitions and find a partner to dance with. She was enrolled in a dance school, and soon was entering competitions by as early as 12 years old.
She won the Polish Championship in 1999 at 17 years old, and then went to the World Championships where she was placed in the Top 12 in November 1999.
Ola split from her dance partner shortly after, when James Jordan phoned her and asked if he could come to Poland and try-out to be her partner. They matched perfectly.

In April 2000, Ola moved to England, and the dance couple got married in 2003. After a sabbatical break from dancing in the 00s, both Ola and James started dancing as professionals on the BBC programme Strictly Come Dancing.
