James Blunt is an English pop and folk rock singer-songwriter from Tidworth, Wiltshire. Born into a family with a history of military service, he was originally set to follow family tradition, and even played his part in Kosovo in the late 90s. But even then, his passion for music was strong, and he would carry his guitar with him throughout his military tours.
Starting his music career in 2004, he released his debut album, ‘Back to Bedlam’, in 2004, which featured the singles, You're Beautiful and Goodbye My Lover and hit #1 in the UK Albums Chart. His second album, ‘All the Lost Souls’, released in 2007, also hit the top spot and was followed by ‘Some Kind of Trouble’ in 2010, and ‘Moon Landing’ in 2013. He is set to release his latest album, ‘The Afterlove’, in 2017.
James Blunt returns with The Afterlove Tour in 2017/18, reaching the UK and Europe in October and November, and then Australia and New Zealand in March 2018.
Later in the year, Blunt will head to Chelsea's Royal Hospital for one of the headliner slots at Live At Chelsea, then he's off to the races for a huge show at Newmarket Racecourse in June and at Bath Racecourse in September. Catch him live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
First time been to see Mr Blunt live, was simply awesome. His vocal capacity is better than on his cd's and such an enthusiastic entertainer, not cool I admit but happy to poke fun at himself and life in general. Such a talented musician that even the non-fans who accompanied myself are now buying the cd's.
An artist I would definitely recommend to anyone, someone who actually can sing and would be happy to pay money to see him again, Simply marvellous.
