Japanese Breakfast are an indie-pop band, which is primarily a project of Michelle Zauner – a singer-songwriter originally from Seoul, South Korea, but raised in Eugene, Oregon.
They released their debut studio album, 'Psychopomp', in 2016, followed by 'Soft Sounds from Another Planet' the following year and, most recently, 'Jubilee' in 2021, which earned them two Grammy nominations. They're due to follow it up with 'For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women)' in March 2025. Japanese Breakfast will support their new album with The Melancholy Tour, which hits the UK and Europe in summer 2025, following a North American leg in the spring.
