Jay B—real name Lim Jae-Beom—is a singer-songwriter from Gyeonggi, South Korea.
He was scouted by JYP Entertainment in 2009, who invited him to audition. He initially declined their offer, but after encouragement from his family, he attended and won first place place over 10,000 hopefuls. He then went on to join the boyband GOT7, with whom he has released a number of albums. He has released a number of solo mixtapes and EPs, and put out his first full-length album as a solo artist, 'Archive 1: [Road Runner]', in 2024. Jay B has announced the US shows for his 2025 Tape: Re Load Tour for June, which will be followed by the Latin American leg in July.
