Jeff Mills is an American techno DJ and producer from Detroit, Michigan.
He started his career in the early 1980s, as a DJ performing under the name The Wizard. In the later ‘80s he formed Underground Resistance, a techno collective alongside former Parliament member 'Mad' Mike Banks. He started to pursue a solo career in 1991, and has released over 20 records, including 2006’s ‘Blue Potential’, a live album with a 70-piece orchestra, and Where Light Ends, in 2013, which was inspired by Japanese astronaut Mamoru Mohri.
