The War of the Worlds is a live stage show adaptation of the cult classic 1897 science fiction novel by H.G Wells, and Jeff Wayne's 1978 LP.

The musical live tour has, in the past, seen performances from the likes of a virtual Richard Burton, Jennifer Ellison, Rhydian Roberts, Jason Donovan, Liz McClarnon, Ricky Wilson, Liam Neeson, Marti Pellow and more.

Following a successful tour of the UK in 2018, the production returns to arenas with Jeff Wayne conducting the nine-piece Black Smoke Band and Liam Neeson reprising his 3D hologram role as the Journalist.

The show has several new features for the rescheduled 2022 tour, including a huge bridge running from the stage out over the audience to the front of house desk, panoramic screens with two hours of CGI footage, plus a new lighting show, pyrotechnics and special effects as well as cutting-edge levitation effect.
