Joe Perry is an American rock musician best known as the lead guitarist of Aerosmith.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1950, he was playing guitar by age 10, and after being inspired by The Beatles, soon became a member of The Jam Band alongside Tom Hamilton, Steven Tyler, Brad Whitford and Joey Kramer - a group which would eventually become Aerosmith. Having enjoyed massive success with the band, Perry would still find time to release music as part of The Joe Perry Project in the '80s and '90s, and as a solo musician in the '00s, having released numerous records and collections. He is also part of the rock supergroup, Hollywood Vampires, alongside Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp. Perry is still performing today, and will take The Joe Perry Project out on tour across the United States in April 2023.
