John Lees Barclay James Harvest tour dates and tickets
Barclay James Harvest are a progressive rock band that began in the 1960s when John Lees and Stuart “Woolly” Wolstenholme met Les Holroyd and Mel Pritchard. They named their new band by putting random words in a hat, and Barclay James Harvest was born in 1967.

After moving in together, the band started writing and recording, and a one-off single deal was negotiated with EMI’s Parlophone label. Early Morning appeared in April 1968, attracting acclaim and the opportunity to record radio sessions for John Peel. This in turn led to a contract with EMI as the band became one of the first signings to the legendary Harvest label, releasing Brother Thrush as their second single in June 1969.

Their debut self titled album was released in 1970 to positive reviews, but few sales, and they proceeded to release a further sixteen albums together, the last being 'River of Dreams' in 1997 as this formation.

In 1998, musical differences amongst members of BJH saw the band essentially split into two different groups. John Lees' Barclay James Harvest went on to release 'Nexus' in 1999 and 'North' in 2013.

John Lees' Barclay James Harvest head out on a 50th Anniversary tour in October 2018. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
