Jon Richardson is a comedian from Lancaster, Lancashire.

He started his comedy career in 2004 and went from strength to strength from then on, supporting Alan Carr on tour in 2006, and was a nominee for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards by 2007 for his debut solo show, Spatula Pad. In 2008 he won the Chortle Award for Best Breakthrough Act with his second show, Dogmatic.

He is also well known for his frequent appearances on television programmes such as Have I Got News for You, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and as a team captain on 8 out of 10 Cats and 8 Out Of Cats does Countdown. This is in addition to his own popular comedy mockumentary series, Meet The Richardsons, which he starred in alongside his wife, Lucy Beaumont.
