Jonathan Jackson is an American actor, musician and singer-songwriter from Orlando, Florida.

His first well known role came in the form of Lucky Spencer, a character from the American soap opera General Hospital, for which he received five Emmy Awards. In 2012, he assumed the role of Avery Barkley in the show Nashville, and appeared in the television for all six series.

Jackson is a member of the American indie-rock band Jonathan Jackson + Enation, alongside brother Richard Lee Jackson and Jonathan Thatcher. They released their debut LP, 'Identity Theft', in 2004 and have since churned out a further six albums, the latest being 2017's 'Anthems For The Apocalypse'.
