Julian Cope is an English rock singer-songwriter and musician from Tamworth, Staffordshire.
Starting his music career in 1978, as the frontman of The Teardrop Explodes, he launched his solo career in 1983, releasing 27 studio albums, as well as 8 compilations and a live album. He released his debut album, ‘World Shut Your Mouth’, in 1984, his 1987 release, ‘Saint Julian’, reached #11 in the UK Albums Chart. His last release was 2018's 'Skellington 3'.
