Kidsmoke are an indie outfit from Wrexham who note The Smiths, The Beatles, Wild Nothing and Real Estate among their influences. Formed in 2013, the band is made up of Lance Williams, James Stickels, Sophie Ballamy and Ash Turner.

They quickly rose to prominence in April that year following the release of their debut EP ‘Higher’, and have gone from strength to strength since reaching the final of the Green Man Rising competition in 2015.

Their 3rd EP ‘Save Your Sorrow’ was released in June 2017 after having been awarded the Horizons Launchpad Fund from BBC Cymru Wales/Arts Council Wales. Singles from the EP made it onto official Spotify playlists as well as airwaves nationwide, including BBC Radio 6 Music, Amazing Radio, Radio X and a live session on BBC Radio Wales with Janice Long.

As well as having played headline shows, Kidsmoke have played Greenman Festival twice and supported the likes of Paul Smith of Maximo Park, Glass Animals, Satellite Stories and Widowspeak. The band’s song Take me to the River was also featured on season 4 of Charlie Brooker’s Netflix show ‘Black Mirror’.

2018 sees the band play a brace of headline shows through spring, as well as support slots for Sweet, Seazoo and Bryde, and an appearance at Focus Wales. catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
