King Diamond, is a Danish heavy metal band, consisting of original members vocalist King Diamond, and guitarist Andy LaRocque, alongside guitarist Mike Wead, bass player Pontus Egberg, Matt Thompson on drums.

Formed in 1985, after King Diamond left Mercyful Fate, the band released their debut album, ‘Fatal Portrait’. The band have released a total of 12 studio albums, including 2007’s, ‘Give Me Your Soul….Please’, which was nominated for a Grammy for Best Metal Performance for the track, Never Ending Hill.
