Having turned down an offer from a record label at just 11 years old, she continued to write and release music throughout her teens. Her big break, however, came in 2018, when Harry Styles tweeted a lyric from her track 1950. She dropped her debut album 'Cheap Queen' the following year, going on to drop her second, 'Hold On Baby', in 2022.
