Korn are an American nu-metal band from Bakersfield, California, consisting of frontman Jonathan Davis, guitarists James ‘Munky’ Shaffer, Brian ‘Head’ Welch, bassist Reginald ‘Fieldy’ Arvizu, and drummer Ray Luzier.
Formed in 1993, the band have released 11 albums across their career, including their debut album, ‘Korn’, in 1994, and ‘Follow the Leader’ in 1998 and ‘Issues’, in 1999, both of which hit #1 in the Billboard Hot 100. The band released their latest album, ‘The Serenity of Suffering’, in October 2016 via Roadrunner. Tracks like Freak on a Leash, Here to Stay, Did My Time, and Twisted Transistor have cemented their place in history.
Korn headed to the UK for a co-headline tour with Limp Bizkit in December 2016, and toured the USA with Breaking Benjamin.

It’s been 22 years since Korn’s self-titled debut clawed its way out of Bakersfield. Twenty two years since nu metal became a ‘thing’. Their contemporaries, copycats and detractors have faded into obscurity or turned into U2 cover bands, but their new album, ‘The Serenity Of Suffering’, is a big ol’ middle finger to all that.
