Lea Michele is an American singer and actress from the Bronx, New York, now based in Los Angeles, California. She is best known for her role as Rachel Berry on Fox’s ‘Glee’.
Starting her career in musical theatre as a child, she appeared in productions of ‘Les Misérables’, ‘Ragtime’, ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ and ‘Spring Awakening’. This led to her being cast in ‘Glee’, which ran from 2009 - 2015, and she was nominated for two Grammy Awards in 2011. She signed to Columbia Records in 2012 and released her debut single, Cannonball in 2013, and her debut album, ‘Louder’, in 2014, which reached #4 in the Billboard 200.
