Life of Agony are an alt-metal band from Brooklyn, New York.
Formed in 1989, the band released their debut album, ‘River Runs Red’, in 1993, dropping a further two albums before splitting in 1999. They reformed in 2002, signing to Epic Records and releasing ‘Broken Valley’ in 2005, before disbanding again in 2012. The band announced their reunion in 2014, and have been going strong ever since. Their discography now hosts a total of six studio albums, with the most recent being 'The Sounds Of Scars' in 2019. Life Of Agony will celebrate 30 years of 'River Runs Red' with a European tour in early 2023, which includes a run of February UK dates.
