Lil Xan is the alias of the California rapper Diego Leanos. Born in 1996, he dropped out of high school in Freshman year and soon gained commercial success.

His debut album, 'Total Xanarchy' dropped in April 2018, but he is best known for his breakout single Betrayed, which came out in 2017 and hit #67 on the Billboard 100. He recently collaborated with Diplo on his track Colourblind.

His stage name comes from his previous addiction to the prescription drug Xanax, as well as other opiates and benzodiazepines. He secured a loyal fanbase by talking openly about mental health, and has gained significant viewing figures on his videos - with over 20 million views on Colourblind alone!
