Live are a rock band from York, Pennsylvania.

Formed in 1988 and known for their grunge-rock sound, they released two LPs before truly finding international fame with their 1994's ‘Throwing Copper’, which received multi-platinum certifications across the world. Their success continued throughout the ‘90s and '00s, before announcing their hiatus in 2009.

The band returned three years later, putting out their ninth and most recent record 'The Turn' in 2014.
