Lulu is a Scottish singer-songwriter and actress/TV personality hailing from Glasgow. Born in 1948, she is one of the country’s most popular singers, recognised the world over for tracks like Shout, her Eurovision winner Boom Bang-a-Bang, the James Bond soundtrack Man With the Golden Gun, and the mega hit To Sir with Love.
Lulu got her first glimpse of music at the age of 12, when she began joining a live band called The Bellrocks every Saturday night as the singer, and managed to impress - her voice was described as ‘remarkable’ even then.
At the age of 15, she signed with Decca Records, and hasn’t looked back since - she’s released 20 studio albums, won the Eurovision Song Contest, and even forged a career as an actress too, appearing in a fair few films!
Having enjoyed over 50 years of success in the music and entertainment industry, she continues to perform across the globe to this day. Lulu will embark on the biggest tour of her career throughout October and November, playing 40 dates in the UK.
