LUMP Tickets, Tour Dates & Concerts 2024/2025 ♫

LUMP is the project by the Grammy-nominated, Brit award-winning singer-songwriter Laura Marling and the founding member of Tunng and Throws, Mercury prize-winning producer Mike Lindsay.

The project was born of good timing and predestined compatibility: beginning one night in June 2016, when the duo were introduced after her show supporting Neil Young in London. They discovered they had both long been admirers of each other’s work, and Lindsay quickly invited Marling into his world — a project in need of a vocalist — inspired by early-20th-century Surrealism and the absurdist poetry of Edward Lear and Ivor Cutler. They slice through the apparent emptiness of contemporary life. Her resulting creation is a bizarre but compelling narrative about the commodification of curated public personas, the mundane absurdity of individualism, and the lengths we go to escape our own meaninglessness.

The collaborative self-titled debut album 'LUMP' was released in 2018 via Dead Oceans and accompanied by live shows throughout that summer. They are set to follow it up with 'Animal' on July 30, 2021.
