Luna are an American indie pop band from New York City, New York, consisting of Dean Wareham, Justin Harwood, Stanley Demeski, Sean Eden, Lee Wall, and Britta Phillips.
Formed in 1991 after the break-up of Galaxie 500 by Wareham, he signed with Elektra Records and put a new band together. Their debut album ‘Lunapark’ came in 1992, followed by ‘Bewitched’ 1994 and ‘Penthouse’, the following year. The band left Elektra and signed with Jericho Records, releasing ‘The Days of Our Nights’ in 1999, and ‘Romantica’ in 2002. ‘Rendezvous’ came in 2004 before the band split in 2005 after a 'Best Of' album. They reformed in 2014 with a tour of Spain and the USA, and in 2017 released a brand new album, 'A Sentimental Education'. Luna will will call in to London and Bristol in September 2018.
