Lynyrd Skynyrd Tickets, Tour Dates & Concerts 2021/2022 ♫

Lynyrd Skynyrd are a rock band from Jacksonville, Florida. Formed in 1966, the band currently consists of founding member Gary Rossington alongside Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Michael Cartellone, Mark Matejka, Peter Keys, Dale Krantz Rossington and Carol Chase.

Best known for pioneering and glamourising the Southern rock genre almost single-handedly, Lynyrd Skynyrd are a band that will remain in music history forever. They are best known for the songs Sweet Home Alabama and Free Bird, with the latter said to be one of the most requested songs in rock history.

After a tragic plane crash took the lives of three of the main band members in 1977, their growing domination came to an abrupt halt and they remained stagnant for ten years, before a slightly-altered Lynyrd Skynyrd returned to continue their legacy for years to come.

The band have released more than 10 studio albums during the course of their career, the latest being 2012's 'Last of a Dyin' Breed', as well as numerous compilation records and live LPs.
