Mario Dewar Barrett, known mononymously as Mario, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and model. He is known for his singles Just a Friend and Let Me Love You in 2002 and 2004, which won him two Billboard Music Awards.
He has released four studio albums: a self-titled debut in 2002, 'Turning Point' in 2004, 'Go' in 2007, and 2009's 'D.N.A.' At the end of the 2000s decade, Mario was ranked #98 by Billboard on their Artist of the Decade list. It took nine years for a new album to drop, with 'Dancing Shadows' arriving in 2018.
