Mark Lettieri is a rock, jazz, blues, groove and instrumental guitarist, composer and producer from Fort Worth, Texas.
Playing in the vibrant gospel and RnB scene after graduating led Lettieri to join the jazz and world music group Snarky Puppy in 2008, where he contributes as guitarist, as well as arranger and composer. The group has earned three GRAMMY Awards including Best RnB Performance and Best Contemporary Instrumental Album twice, for 'Sylva' in 2016, and 'Culcha Vulcha' in 2017. Snarky Puppy tours constantly, having performed on almost every continent. Outside of Snarky Puppy, Lettieri has released three albums as a solo artist: 'Knows' in 2011, 'Futurefun' in 2013, and most recently, 'Spark and Echo in 2016' through Ropeadope Record). The latest climbed to number 11 on Billboard's Jazz Albums Chart, and number two on the iTunes' Jazz Chart. Performing with his band known as the Mark Lettieri Trio, the band will headline London's Jazz Cafe in April 2019.
