Marsicans are an indie-rock band from Leeds, made up of four old school friends. Their sound is driving and harmony-laden, and their energetic and exciting live shows have earned them a reputation as an emerging force in British music.
After non-official 'The Chivalry' EP in 2014, the band's first commercial single was 2015's Gone in A Second, which was followed swiftly by lead single Arms of Another and Swimming in 2016 - apparent on the band's debut mini album, 'The Absence' in the same year. After a string of singles landed in the Top 20 of Spotify UK's New Music Friday as well as The Indie List, a feature on Made In Chelsea and the BBC Radio 1 weekly playlist, and having been shared by Coldplay, Marsicans released their first full- length album 'Ursa Major' in 2020. They've played to packed rooms at Live At Leeds, Brighton's Great Escape, Manchester's Dot-To-Dot festivals and plenty of other UK festival stages, including Leeds Festival. They have toured with the likes of Hippo Campus, Clean Cut Kid and Jaws. Mariscans have moved their headline UK tour to April 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
