Mastodon are a metal band from Atlanta, Georgia.

Formed in 2000, the band released their debut record, ‘Remission’, in 2002. Since then, they have amassed a global army of fans and recorded a further seven albums including, most recently, 2021's 'Hushed And Grim'.

The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the world, alongside supporting the likes of Slayer, Slipknot, and Lamb of God, and co-headlining with Primus and Dinosaur Jr.

In 2025, Mastodon announced that they were parting ways with lead guitarist Brent Hinds after 25 years.

Mastodon will appear at Sonic Temple Festival in Columbus, Ohio in May 2025, before joining Coheed And Cambria for the co-headlining Infinite Arc Tour across North America that spring. They'll return to Europe and the UK that summer for a mix of headlining shows, festival dates, and gigs supporting Slayer.
