Matoma, real name Tom Stræte Lagergren, is a Norwegian tropical house music producer and DJ, from Asnes.
Starting his music career in 2013, his remix of Notorious B.I.G's Old Thing Back in 2015, reached #2 in the Norwegian chart. He released his debut album, ‘Hakuna Matoma’, in November 13, 2015 via Warner Music. He released a handful of singles throughout 2016 and 2017, culminating in Staying Up, a song co-performed by The Vamps. He has since announced his newest album, 'One In A Million', the date of release for which is as of yet unannounced. However, the lead single Slow, featuring Noah Cryrus will drop on Friday November 17. Matoma has announced a new tour to go with the album, hitting Canada and the US, as well as the UK in January 2018.
