Matt Richardson is a comedian and broadcaster from Didcot.
He began his career in stand up at the age of 18 in 2009, having appeared in the finals of So You Think You're Funny and winning the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year in 2010. Aside from stand-up, Richardson is well known as a co-presenter on the ITV2 spin-off show The Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack in 2013, and in 2016 became the drive time presenter on Virgin Radio UK, as well as co-presenting Celebrity Haunted. Richardson's first solo comedy show, Hometown Hero, won Best New Show at the 2012 Leicester Comedy Festival and he consequently toured it across the UK. His second show Slash debuted at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2017 before going on a UK Tour in Autumn 2017. He'll continue touring Slash across the country throughout 2019.
