Maverick Sabre—real name Michael Stafford—is an English-Irish singer-songwriter, rapper and musician from Hackney, London.
Starting his music career in 2008, he featured on albums of other artists before releasing his own mixtape, ‘The Travelling Man’, in 2010. This caught the attention of some of the biggest acts of the time, providing guest vocals for Chase & Status' Fire In Your Eyes and Professor Green's Jungle, as well as bagging a support slot for The Script on their Science & Faith Tour. He has since gone on to put out a total of four studio albums, with his most recent being 2024's 'Burn the Right Things Down'. Maverick Sabre will headline a show as part of Cork's Guinness Jazz Festival in October 2025, before touring Australia in February 2026.
