Michael Monroe is a veteran Finnish glam punk star hailing from Helsinki. A talented singer, guitarist, pianist, drummer, and even harmonica and saxophone player, he's made a name for himself as a solo star as well as fronting bands like Hanoi Rocks, Demolition 23, and Jerusalem Slim.
His debut solo album 'Nights Are So Long' came out in 1987, and paved the way for a number of relatively successful records in the coming years. A popular figure in Finland and the glam punk and hard-rock scene all over, he's still writing, recording, and releasing music to this day, both with bands and on his own. Monroe has released 10 solo studio albums to date, the latest being 2015's 'Blackout States'. He'll follow it up with his new album, 'One Man Gang', which will arrive on October 18, 2019. Michael Monroe and band will support the new record with a tour of the UK and Europe in October and November 2019.
