Miyavi is a Japanese singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Konohana-ku, Osaka. Born in 1981, he first came about as a member of Dué le Quartz, but early in the '00s, he broke off to become a solo artist.
Recognised for his unique finger-slapping guitar style, Miyavi is a big name both in Japan and internationally, and often tours the world supporting his many releases. His debut came in 2002 with 'Gagaku', and has released over ten more - the latest being 2017's 'Samurai Sessions Vol. 2'. Miyavi will head to London in April 2018.
