Modern Life Is War are an influential hardcore and melodic, punk band from Iowa, United States, which formed back in 2002. Consisting of the original lineup of Jeffrey Eaton on vocals, John Paul Eich and Matt Hoffman on guitars, Chris Honeck on bass and Tyler Oleson on drums, the band reunited in 2012 following a break-up four years earlier.
Renowned for their energetic live shows, Modern Life Is War have released four studio albums to date, most recently 2013's Kurt Ballou produced 'Fever Hunting'. The band returned to the UK for rare shows in Manchester & London in April 2015, and were back in August 2016 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their album ’Witness’ with a one off headline show in Glasgow, prior to their sets at Reading and Leeds - the celebrations continued further with a remastering of the seminal album.
