Monster Magnet are American stoner rock band from New Jersey, consisting of Dave Wyndorf, Garrett Sweeny, Phil Caivano, Bob Pantella and Chris Kosnik.
Formed in 1989, they released their debut album, ‘Spine of God’, in 1991, with their 1998 album ‘Powertrip’, seeing the most success, earning them a Gold Certification in the USA. They released 'Last Patrol', in 2013, which they remade the year after with different versions of the tracks. Then, 2015 saw 'Cobras and Fire (The Mastermind Redux)'. Monster Magnet returned with their first brand new LP in five years, 'Mindfucker', in March 2018, and have since toured the US and UK. Monster Magnet have rescheduled their North American tour dates to winter 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
