Morrissey is a singer-songwriter and musician from Lancashire.
He began is music career in 1977, performing in several punk bands before gaining global success as the frontman of The Smiths. The band would release four albums; ‘The Smiths’ in 1984, ‘Meat Is Murder’ in 1985, ‘The Queen Is Dead’ 1986, and ‘Strangeways, Here We Come’ in 1987, before disbanding in 1987. He launched his solo career in 1988, releasing his debut album, 'Viva Hate' that same year. Since then, he has dropped a further 13 records, with his most recent being 2022's 'Bonfire Of Teenagers'.
