Mt Joy are a folk rock band who began with Matt Quinn and Sam Cooper playing music together in high school, then finally reconvening in LA in 2016 after a number of years apart.
Despite little fanfare, their debut single Astrovan picked up steam immediately and now has over 6 million streams. The song's success inspired the band to pursue Mt Joy properly - and they released a handful of follow up singles that fared similarly. Their debut full length album, a self titled effort, was released in March 2018.
Since their inception, Mt Joy have played tour dates alongside The Shins, The Head and The Heart, The Lone Bellow and Whitney, and appeared at some of the summer’s biggest festivals, including Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival, Lollapalooza and Made In America.
Mt. Joy have announced a series of autumn UK and European dates to follow on from their summer headline shows. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
