Ne-Yo is an American R&B, pop and hip hop singer-songwriter and producer from Camden, Arkansas, now based in Las Vegas.

Starting his music career in 1998, as a member of Envy, he started his solo career after the group disbanded. He released his debut album, ‘In My Own Words’, in 2006, which hit #1 in the Billboard Hot 200, as did his second album, ‘Because of You’, which came out in 2007. All his other albums have reached the Top Ten; ‘Year of the Gentleman’, in 2008, ‘Libra Scale’, in 2010, ‘R.E.D’, in 2012 and ‘Non-Fiction’ in 2015.
