NEK, or Filippo Neviani, is an Italian singer songwriter, popular in his home country and throughout the Spanish speaking world, having released most of his albums in both Italian and Spanish.
Nek first gained international success in 1997, when he took part in the Sanremo Music Festival, but did not win. He went on to have his international breakthrough with the single Laura Non C'è, which became a major hit in Europe and Latin America that year. By this point, he had released four albums, and just kept on going, with 'In Due' in 1998, 'La Vita è' in 2000, and six more before his latest, 'Unici' in 2016.
