Nick Mulvey is an English singer-songwriter and musician, who studied music in Havana, Cuba. Starting his music career in 2007, as a member of Portico Quartet, he left the band in 2011, to pursue a solo career.
He released his debut EP, 'The Trellis', in 2012, which was followed by his second, 'Fever to the Form', the following summer. He released his debut album, 'First Mind', in 2014, which earned him a Mercury Prize nomination. Its follow up was 2017's 'Wake Up Now', which he furthered with the 'Dancing For The Answers' EP in May 2018.
He has headlined his own shows and tours across the world, including a show at Somerset House as part of their summer series, and Bestival.
Nick Mulvey played UK and Ireland shows in autumn 2017 supporting 'Wake Up Now', as well as an appearance at Bestival over the summer.

After leaving Portico Quartet, Nick Mulvey quickly set out the parameters for a successful solo run. His debut, ‘First Mind’, was nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2014, six years after his old band made the shortlist with ‘Knee-Deep in the North Sea’.
