Only Boys Aloud Tickets, Tour Dates & Concerts 2024/2025 ♫Last Updated: 27 Jul 2021 10:03am
Only Boys Aloud are a choir based in South Wales, made up entirely of young males aged 14 to 19.
Founded in 2010 by choral director Tim Rhys-Evans, they are the younger generation's answer to Only Men Aloud – a choir of Welshmen who won BBC’s Last Choir Standing programme in 2008. The 133-strong group was established as a means of giving teenage boys the opportunity to grow in ability, broaden their horizons – and keep out of trouble. After finishing third on Britain’s Got Talent in 2012, the group garnered international attention, performing at the Ryder Cup Welcome to Wales event in the Millennium Stadium, alongside Dame Shirley Bassey and Catherine Zeta-Jones. In 2012, the boys released their self-titled debut album, followed by 'A New Generation' in 2018. Only Boys Aloud have rescheduled shows in Cardiff and Rhyl to July 2022, following their 10th anniversary gala concerts in Cardiff and Llandudno in November 2021.
