The Pearlfishers are a Glasgow-based rock band fronted by the singer and songwriter David Scott. Other contributors include drummer Jim Gash, Dee Bahl, Brian McAlpine, Mil Stricevic and Duglas T. Stewart, also of the BMX Bandits.
After several EPs in the early 1990s, Pearlfishers released 'Za Za's Garden' in 1993 followed by a number of more albums, until their 2007 release 'Up With The Larks' was named one of the top albums of the by the Sunday Mail. They went on to release 'Open Up Your Colouring Book' in 2014, and 'Love and Other Hopeless Things' in 2019. Pearlfishers have a handful of Scotland shows planned for November 2019.
