Pedro the Lion is an American indie/lo-fi band based in Seattle, Washington. Formed in 1995 by main man David Bazan, the group has featured a number of musicians and members over the years, up until the group dissolved in 2006, as Bazan went solo.
Releasing four records before their split, Pedro the Lion would build a legacy that kept them spiritually alive until 2017, when Bazan decided it was time for their return. Though they initially planned to play music from their back catalogue, the band would later enter the studio to work on a new album. 'Phoenix' looks set for a release in 2019 via Polyvinyl, and is supported by a North American tour starting in February. Check below to find tickets!
