Formed in 1986, the band have achieved 33 hit singles, multiple platinum-selling, #1 studio albums, and record sales in excess of 75 million worldwide. Their songs, It Must Have Been Love and Listen to Your Heart, continue to receive radio airplay and recently received awards from BMI for achieving four million radio plays. They released 2012’s ‘Travelling’, and headed out on their ‘XXX - The 30th Anniversary Tour’, which reached London and Dublin in the summer of 2015. In 2018, Per Gessle will take Roxette on tour around Europe without the help of Marie Fredriksson due to illness.
