Pere Ubu is an American rock outfit hailing from Cleveland, Ohio. Formed in 1975, the band is the project of frontman and chief songwriter David Thomas, who is the only remaining original member. It also consists of Michele Temple, Robert Wheeler, Keith Moliné, Steve Mehlman, Gagarin, and Darryl Boo.
Known for their experimental mixture of industrial rock, ‘art-punk’, new wave, and post-punk, Pere Ubu have released fourteen studio albums over the years, most recently with ‘Lady from Shanghai’ in 2013.
