Pete Tong is a dance music DJ from Dartford, Kent.

Starting his music career in 1981, he is widely recognised as a DJ for BBC Radio, where he presents a number of programmes including the popular Essential Mix series. As a DJ, he performs across the UK spinning his favourite selection of tracks from all corners of dance music.

In 2015, Pete Tong played at the BBC Radio 1 Ibiza Prom at the Royal Albert Hall and, following its success, Pete Tong Classics was born, featuring the Jules Buckley-conducted Heritage Orchestra.

Pete Tong's Ibiza Classics Tour will take over arenas across the UK in December 2024. Ahead of this, in summer 2024, he'll top the bill at Camp Bestival Dorset, take over Reading as part of Heritage Live, as well as headlining the Bedford Summer Sessions and the Jockey Club Live concert series in Haydock Park, Sandown Park and Newmarket Racecourse.
